Job Snooping
Since I am a senior, I spend a lot of time looking for jobs and researching potential careers. I don't know if I am the only one but I feel like I started from scratch. Being the oldest in my family, I did not have any siblings who recently went through something similar, so the only advice I had was from my parents.
I wanted to share a really helpful site that had completely transformed my job hunt. Glassdoor.com is basically the answers to the test. It has almost every company that you can imagine in its system and allows you read job reviews, average salaries and even interview questions for that job. I actually found this when I was preparing for my first interview and it literally lifted a weight off my shoulder. The questions ended up not being the exact same, but the preparation using the other ones definitely helped.
They also offer an app that updates you when a similar job opens up. Sometimes I find myself just scrolling through to get ideas and learn more about my industry.
This can also be used with LinkedIn and provides very helpful information for those stressed about the job hunt.
